The 'Play'list: Repertoire for Late Intermediate to Early Advanced Pianists (Grades 5-7)

ree

As you may have gleaned from my posts thus far that I find Intermediate to Early Advanced Levels of Piano Playing as the most accessible Levels of Western Classical Music in terms of listening appeal to a large audience.

These Levels (Grades 5-7) also happens to be the Levels that most Piano students can aspire to reach with regular practice (without necessarily needing 'prodigy' level talent).

So in this post I am making a List of Pieces from the Western Classical Repertoire (some may not be popular but they sound great) that would be great not only to aspire to learn and perform but also work well as a Playlist to Listen to!!

Now, the above list is not exhaustive in any way or form.

But the hope is to give the teacher a starting to help students build library of Music to listen to and also aspire to play as they develop the necessary skills.

Also, I have tried to focus on some Popular composers, so there are a lot of great composers and compositions who I have omitted in this list.

An idea that comes to mind is to select pieces from the above and build a Recital Program!!

Learning some of the pieces above can also be an activity teachers can take up for themselves, considering they''re not very demanding but are very satisfying to play!!

What are the other pieces that you think can be added to this list?
